 Marie Banu

Ms. Marie Banu, Director, CSIM also heads the Centre for Media and Development Communication, the communication wing of CSIM. An MBA in Human Resource Management, she has over 18 years of experience in Fundraising, Communication, Media and Advocacy, and Management. She has worked for national as well as international developmental organisations—Oxfam International, Action Aid and Danida— and has managed the national and international media for Oxfam’s tsunami response program in India. She is a trainer in Fundraising, Media, Communication, Social Entrepreneurship, and Management, and also serves as visiting faculty for leading educational institutions. She is the Chief Editor of Conversations, a monthly tabloid on social issues published by CSIM, and authors several articles besides conducting interviews with celebrities who are into social work.
